We have a very unique love of pieces such as these French oyster baskets, because we love finding things that once served a purpose in the daily lives of someone, and which still have so much life in them. We have about a dozen of these available, and they are all the same design and size, but varied in their patina, which each comes by honestly! These baskets spent time in the sea, collecting oysters served to diners in the 1950s. 

There are so many ways these can be used, we love a stack of magazines inside, or for storing shoes and the like in a mudroom. You could even use these as planters and create a beautiful centerpiece for an outdoor party.
