DETAILS
This tall industrial, vintage American outdoor park light has an arched stem supporting a large, disc-shaped single light. The lights displays a transitional style showing design elements from both Art Nouveau and Art Deco. Now on an custom iron base.

PROVENANCE
This post lamp fixture was salvaged from the Burnham Harbor in Chicago, Illinois which is named for urban planner and architect Daniel Burnham (American, 1846-1912). He was a key figure in the creation of master plans of a number of cities including Chicago and Washington. D.C. The last image shows a circa 1950 vintage postcard of the Burnham Harbor park where one of these lights is pictured (not included).
